Imagine if Rafa ends up there.
I'd absolutely love it if they go for Mark Hughes. But I think the stage is set for Moyes.

You jest, but it feels about as big as trophy type three.
Change is possible.
I agree. This is a massive deal. Should be very interesting to see how man Utd set up now. Changing the style of play, the players, possibly that winning me mentality with giggs, scholes, ferdinand not around. Even Rooney might fancy a move.
About time. Thought he would die right there I the dugout.
Klopp is probably not available.
Mourinho probably doesn't have the guts or desire to go there with the Chelsea job open.
Benitez, ha ha.
Pellegrini is on the move?
But overall I think they will go for a British coach and therefore Moyes.

That true, losing Giggs, Scholes and whomever else will really suck the life out of that team.
No point getting too excited though, they're in a better state than any other club in the world. As long as they don't appoint some half wit, they'll be fine in the long run.
Moyes will mange them if he wants.
Generally, the cash markets don't lie on this sort of thing.
This could be a lifeline for Mancini actually - keep continuity at City, strengthen and turn things over during summer and they will maybe be favourites.
I hope Ferguson staying on as a director is a problem but somehow I doubt it will be.
By that I mean; Moyes isn't anyone's favourite from a 'brand name' perspective, so why would there be sudden movement on him without some inside info?

Too late, I've already decided they're going to decline. We'll see them in the battle for 4th next year.

His personal demographic similarity to Ferguson, and the weight of wagers placed?
Yep, I saw this coming a mile off.

Yes, that's what I mean.
Moyes moved to favourite before the rumour leaked (let alone the news) purely on the weight of money. Not an accurate science in the slightest but clearly something is there.

Was just going to post the same thing
Moyes odds are still good for anyone interested...
Any british coach appointed and I will rejoice

Market just bottomed out. Moyes is the next ManU manager.
If its Moyes, Man Utd fans are going to hang themselves. But it does go to show how unrealistic we are by touting Klopp, Pelegrini (and before Guardiola). If Man Utd can't attract them, we've got even less chance.
