His ability to score loads of goals over the course of a season has never been in doubt, but for me he's another counter attacking forward/striker just like the other forwards on our books ie they(Higuain, theo, Podolski) are all players who are mostly effective when space is afforded to them. But in the really tight games, with little or no space to operate in, where quality close control is required to make things happen, they are often found wanting. I'd rather bring in a technician/magician given the way we play and the type of forwards already at our disposal.
If we are lucky enough to have Carzola consistently fit to start on the left, then it wouldn't be a problem, but imagine an injury to Carzola(may God forbid) and we are forced to play a forward line of Podolski---Higuain---Walcott against a deep lying defence and a compact team.........we'd be fucked! IMO
