I added the ones in bold.
You'd sign a player who's going to turn 36 soon before you'd sign Higuain? 😆
You can't randomly restrict it to 10 players you'd sign before him, if you didn't like his style would it mean he's not world class? It's more about his level. He's a level below Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, van Persie and Cavani at the moment, but I'd put him about the same level as many of the others you've mentioned.
Also, it's interesting that you dismissed someones opinion of him as world class earlier because they said he'd 'only' guarantee 15-20 league goals, yet you include Suarez. Imbrahimovic has only done it 3 times in his long career, van Persie, Rooney twice, Aguero once.
No, I'm not saying that I'd realistically sign Di Natale, just that he's currently a class player and probably slightly above or equal to Higuain.
You'll see in my previous post that my personal criteria for world-class is the top 5 players for a position/role, and you've just named 5 players who are better than him. Therefore, he's not world class (according to my definition anyway, everyone has their own definition for world-class of course 🙂 ).
The "10 names thing" was just to highlight that he really isn't in the top tier, most people probably would name about 10 players before even considering Higuain. Doesn't mean he isn't a very good player though, just not world-class for me personally.
EDIT: I will add that he does have ridiculously good stats though, 106 goals and 39 assists in 188 league games (wiki). He averages doing something productive every 0.77 league games 🙂

The first 8 on that list are completely unrealistic for us. Di Natale as said turns 36 and isn't better. Suarez has scored 20 plus league goals out of holland once in his career. Rooney yeah he probably is better but question marks surround his lifestyle (Don't mean grannies but his alcohol etc.) and motivation. Financially even if IG says we can afford him he represents a huge outlay.
It's a completely hypothetical list with no thought given to the viability of those players.
