For all those comparing Rooney to Higuain, I would agree that Rooney is the better overall player but in terms of a pure #9 (something I think we have been missing) and goals, Higuain is one of the best out there. He's not slow at all, he has good technique and while he is a great finisher, he can also take players on himself and work in a possession based system as well. He's a huge upgrade over Giroud and I am a fan of Giroud as a backup striker. But with Santi, Wilshere and our wingers giving him service, I don't see why he can't get close to, if not more than, 20 league goals next year. He won't have to look over his shoulder with Wenger switching him home and away as well.
