Thing is now all our players contracts but one end in November as we can't afford anything more than 12 month contracts. So have to hope that the players don't go too crazy looking for loads extra money as we won't be able to afford it. Our managers contract is up in November too, can see him and a few others being cherry picked by teams in England/Scotland unfortunately.

Draw is @ 11.30 this morning. A big team from Pot 1 would be great for the financial implications, then hopefully a poorer team from Pot 3 too. 4 points from the group would be a massive success.

I have to say that watching Fabregas score a great goal for Barcelona there made me smile. Still got love for the guy.

Messi was trying to pass to Iniesta btw.

Only watched the last 40 minutes or so, but I can't believe Barca bought Sanchez for the money they did and didn't go for Hazard - technically there is no comparison.

I think he's alright. I think he wanted to go and play with his mates in his home town, for the best club in the world, and it was always going to get a little messy given how much we wanted to keep him.

He does genuinely love Arsenal, he was a great player for us, gave me some of the best moments I've had watching Arsenal, always gave his all, and I don't begrudge him his move.

I'm surprised I want him to do well, because I thought I would be pretty neutral to it all, but as I said above, right now I still have a bit of love for him.

I can't stand the other cunts that play for them though. Even gone off Messi for some reason.

He doesn't deserve anything Biggus, and I competely agree with you that he's looked after no.1 and understand if anyone doesn't like him.

But I genuinely think he has an attachment to the club and despite feeling let down by him that's enough to make me 'smile', as Ricky put it, when he does well.
