I don’t think fans actively dislike him but he doesn’t have that same connection with them since all that Barca DNA nonsense?
He's not the type of character that people warm to either, his personality isn't big enough to compensate and make people put the angst aside.

Interesting to note Liverpool kept up their record of conceding 3 goals in their 3rd pre-season friendly, except that they scored none this time. 3-0 loss to Hull 😮

Rawk is really superb when they are in meltdown. Someone even tried to explain their loss as more beneficial than a win 😆

The way I look at it is, had we gone out there and stuffed them 4-0 then we would have gleaned very little from the result. It would just have been a run of the mill result against a team who we perceive to be lesser opposition. About as much fucking benefit to us as a cock flavored lollipop. The fact that we were the ones on the wrong end of the result means there's plenty of work for Kenny and Steve Clark to do in training tomorrow. I'd rather that than stroking ourselves over how great we are for hammering Hull fucking City. Blessing in disguise this. Now I'm off, there's a right smell of bellendedness in here.

Liverpool's getting their obligatory pre-season hype, but the more I think about it the more I realize that they're just as average as they are any season, and certainly nowhere near the level that they were in 08-09 (the last time they were decent).

I don't know if any of you have seen this, but I came across this today. Probably the best goal I've seen in a long time.

Wow, Roberto Mancini absolutely furious with Balotelli in their friendly now. And I mean absolutely furious. He just subbed him out after only 30mins because Balotelli went through on goal and tried to backheel shoot past the keeper.

EDIT: Arguing on the touchline now, Balotelli shouts at him and throws the water bottle at Mancini. 😆
