Liverpool are producing a fantastic finish to their season, fair play to them. It would be quite the turnaround if they pipped Spurs to 5th.

what if it was slightly over instead of not and the lino isn't sure but doesn't make the decision then it's chelsea that's robbed because "he can't give it if he isn't sure". nonsense.

No such thing as "slightly over" it's like saying slightly pregnant........
I'm happy for Franky it evens up that one he was denied in the world cup, so the cosmic balance is maintained and alls right again.

slightly over in the sense that you can see it on a zoomed in still photo, but to the naked eye from the lino's position there is a possibility that some of the ball could be touching the line so you don't give it because you aren't sure. in this case or in the real case yesterday it's a toss up and complaining about the lino is useless because the only thing that can prevent incorrect decisions like that is technology.

Just realized that Spurs and their player of the year are all the way down in 6th.

planet of the apes has a whopping 7 goals and 1 assist in the league. truly a force to be reckoned with.

The number one player in world football today.

and we're like the opposite of that these days.

QPR not getting promoted after all? Hilarious that Neil Warnock is involved in this after what happened to him at Sheffield United and the Carlos Tevez affair.

hasnt actually been decided yet as far as i know

Arseblogger brought it up the other day, but I haven´t seen it discussed here.

A player in MLS, Brian Mullan, broke a player´s leg with a reckless challenge. Since it was a straight red he first received an automatic 1 game ban. After the MLS review board had looked at the incident properly they banned him for another 9 games, taking the total of banned games up to 10.

Firstly, they have a review board that looks at incidents afterwards, regardless if the ref has made a ruling or not.
Secondly, a 10 game ban for a reckless challenge might actually have an effect on players before they commit to stupid challenges.
Thirdly, this is exactly what the EPL needs IMO.

QPR have gotten away with just a fine. Not sure how exactly.

I've been out of the loop for a while. What's all this about QPR?

It looks like Nuri Sahin is heading for Real, by the way. That's a real shame. I'm not sure what they're gonna do with both Özil and Sahin, but they'll have a hell of a midfield next season.

He'll only be able to understudy Alonso in that team, maybe the odd game in place of Khedira.

It's a strange choice, especially when he could've picked between all the top clubs in Europe. Apparently he's got a buy-out clause worth £9 million in his contract.

Been looking that way for a while. I loved one of the lines from Klopp's reaction to the rumour

"There are a lot of players around in Germany who are good enough to play for Real Madrid. Probably not good enough for Barcelona, but certainly for Madrid."

😆

Sahin's obviously worried about burn-out so fancies a couple of years sitting on the bench earning a fat pay check. Good luck to him.

stupid move by sahin. he should stay at dortmund and see how far they can go in the CL. he's going to ride the pine at madrid, play boring defensive football, and not get any better.

charlie adam, attaboy! hope blackpool can hold on.

I hate that cheating fuck Bale but Adam is a cunt for that tackle. Nasty cunt he is, Waddle said "he's not that sort of player" but he's the most booked player in the league.
