Games like these are where Fergie usually comes up short tactically. He's not exactly the most flexible guy. His game plan is always to sit back and try to exploit others mistakes. It didn't work against Bilbao and it was never going to work against City.

Nah, we should have sold Clichy. He's only doing the business now because he's playing at a top level team fighting for top honours, but he was definitely coasting here. Hopefully one of Santos/Gibbs really steps up next year though.

As for Yaya, well yeah. Wenger can be pretty blind on youth talent sometimes.

United could easily drop a couple of points at Sunderland and QPR will still be battling relegation when City play them … nothing's a given really.

We missed out on Yaya Toure because of work permit issues?

"I know him very well, since he was 15 years old, so I know him for a long time. He is a top-class talent," said Wenger.

I dont think Qs was talking about the time when he was young. I thinnk he was talking about before he moved to City or even Barca.

Can't believe United gave up without a fight though. Not a single meaningful attack.

One thing though, watching Clichy celebrate only serve to remind me how long it has been since I was delighted watching our players celebrate for a trophy.

Confident it will come next season.

So at the end of the day the 6-1 was the difference then. Let's be honest, as much as we hate them we all could have put up with United winning it. They win it every season anyway so what difference would it make? Nasri winning it will be harder to stomach. And we can't really want Newcastle to beat them can we?

Fairly sickening thinking about that Nasri getting a PL winners medal.
According to Neville losing the PL title on goal difference is Ferguson's worst nightmare - every cloud I guess.
Losing on goal difference to City would make it double hell.
Fergie knows it's out of his hands now, looks beat.
