Agreed, there have been some games where we very obviously missed him like Swansea away. But against Stoke and Chelsea the performance was fine, we don't have any clinical quality in the final third.
van Persie is running out of steam and Rosicky isn't a 90 minute presence, yet the two of them combined for a goal. We need a few more players like that, maybe not as good as van Persie, but at least a level (or three!) above Chamakh and Gervinho.
We missed out massively on Jelavic, he looks lethal! And in a team of fairly mediocre creative players he's banging them in.
