Problem I have with Balotelli is not that he's a disruptive influence, or even that he's so stupid some times, it's that you know full well he doesn't give two hoots about the club he's playing for and probably never will. I don't think he plays with any heart on the football pitch, just cruises through and does his thing, when the going gets tough he doesn't do enough.

I really think Balotelli would be worth a shot. He's got an insane amount of talent. He just needs someone who can help him grow up. At Inter Mancini acted like a father figure for him. Mourinho is not that type of manager though and things quickly went sour when he took over the team. Ever since Balotelli arrived at City and rejoined Mancini he's been slowly improving again, both as a person and as a footballer. It's not a coincidence. Someone like Wenger would probably do him a world of good.

If a manager unlock his potential then he's a fantastic prospect. I can totally understand why most would pass him over, he's just not worth the heartache.

I think City is perfect for him, as Mancini can bench him if he misbehaves too much (not as much lately, with Dzeko struggling and Tevez on the outs, which just leaves Aguero), but the point is that with us, for example, he would be one of the main players and we would need to rely on him, making his tantrums more disruptive as we would have no choice but to put up with them. If he ever gets his head on straight properly (as he's started doing a bit), he would truly be scary.

Balotelli is hugely overated he is a good player but not as good as people have made out, add to that the distractions he brings and he aint really worth it. I have been impressed more with dempsey and yakubu this season, both at struggling clubs yet have managed to get a fair amount of goals.

Not sure about hugely over rated, but I dont think he's quite as special a talent as some think. I've never seen him have the sort of game that makes me think 'wow'.

Best thing about him, imo, is his finishing. Rarely see him miss a decent chance when he's properly focused.

So we finish 1st of our group, and get a rampant AC Milan which is top of Serie A. Marseille finishes second of the same group, and gets to play an Inter side which has struggled all year. Luck of the draw, eh?

btw, the San Siro pitch look nicely relayed for that match, including on the wings.

I switched to the Inter game at half time because the Bayern game didn't seem to be much of a contest.
This is not football. Inter are chasing the game with attacks that feature two or three players at most.
