Brendan Rodgers is right up there with the best managers in this League for me. I genuinely don't believe there's even one particularly good player in that team, he just has their roles so well defined and they each fit so well into his system, that it all works. I'd love to see what he could do working with a top squad.
What do you make of Paul Lambert and Norwich City, who actually been doing better than Swansea.
Yep, I like Lambert, too. I don't think their system's quite as good; relies a bit more on getting men behind the ball and fighting to keep opponents out, but they're decently drilled and disciplined, and they play at a great pace and tempo going forward.
Both managers are getting the most out of the players they have available to them. I reckon Rodgers will do more with a bigger team in the future though. He's going toe-to-toe with the best teams in the League and preventing them from being able to really open Swansea up, especially at home, and he's doing it by matching them in midfield, not putting 10 men behind the ball. I think that's very impressive.
