1-0 . Messi. Great goal.
Edit: poor defending too.
What a fantastic goal
Will be interesting to see if Santos can react to this, cos right now they are getting dicked on just as bad as anyone else who plays Barca.
Don't think they'll live with it Tim. I watch south american football occasionally and pressing literally doesn't exist there. They don't have a clue what to do against it.
Way too easy for Barca. Santos don't have a prayer here.
This could be a thrashing. Santos cannot get near them. So much for Neymar, he hasn't touched the ball.
This boy Xavi is a ridiculously gifted footballer. He's making fools of Santos. Amazing close control, passing and finishing.
Could and should be 5,6-0 by now.
That Fabregas move was good as well. We need our own Masia. These cats are playing football from another dimension
It wouldn't work over a season in the premiership unfortunately.
Pique booked for that mini assault on Neymar.
A La Masia style set up would have been illegal in the UK until now. Think the new rules might make a difference though.
The two big disadvantages we would face vs La Masia are 1) limited access to young non-European talent, and 2) no serious organized football for players 18 -21 years old.
The Santos players look shocked!
In terms of a supposedly competitive fixture this is sleep inducing. No contest at all.
When these guys like Ganso and Neymar experience this, should they have anything about them, they'll move as soon as possible.

The main disadvantage would be that the clubs in this country dont have the same level of access to the kids as they do in Spain. Thankfully, this is changing soon to a more even playing field.

It's fair enough to be honest. This is pretty much what happened to us the first time we played Barca but they didn't take their chances that day.
Santos are in good company. Most major European clubs can empathize with them.

They've not taken their chances today either! lol
