Yeah, Spurs are worrying at the moment.
Today's game is the kind that they'd have drawn or even lost last season with the hapless Gomes in goal.
Friedel really made a big difference.

Their confidence is sky high too and they don't have the CL to drain or distract them this season.
We're going to have to keep our winning streak going to put pressure on them.
We have a chance to do that given our next four PL games, we cannot afford to drop any points in those fixtures.

Spurs were lucky as fuck. You will never see a more one sided game yielding a convincing result for the lousier team. Fulham should have won that game easily

Spurs have just had some favourable fixtures, with all their big players fit. They will hit a rocky patch because, frankly, they're not that good - proven again today, as by all accounts, Fulham gave them a good going over and were incredibly unlucky.

Wait until they start getting a few injuries or suffer a bad result or two and confidence drops, and suddenly they will look a different side.

it will come down to margin of error, and unforuntately ours is alot narrower than theirs. they're 3 points ahead with a game in hand, a better gd, and a deeper (albeit mediocre) squad. rvp won't play like god the whole season, he will get burnt out and/or injured, and this will bury us. at this stage they're on odds on to finish ahead of us, which is a travesty because they're shower of fucking shit.

Sacking the player and losing out on a potential future sale like the whole Chelsea-Mutu saga? And while the court did side with Chelsea, good luck to them on actually getting the money, because it ain't gonna happen. Don't see why it should to be honest because he was sacked and not under contract when he signed for Fiorentina or Juve or whoever but that's another matter.

Y Va, you don't want to sack him. It's hard enough for clubs since Bosman. The last thing they need is players proving that if you want to get out of a contract, all you have to do is behave like a prick for a few months. They especially would be open to these abuses because their players are too expensive for most clubs and they have a lot of good players who don't play as often as they would like.

Hmm, I don't know. I think it undermines the clubs authority if they have a player who consistently and blatently ignores the conditions of his contract.
It's particularly dangerous in a club like City where players already have an inflated sense of their worth due to the crazy amount of money that they are paid.
As for players using it as a way to get out of their contracts - if those are the levels that they're prepared to stoop to isn't a club better off without them?

I'm not actually that bothered whether they sack him or not, just think it would be vaguely entertaining to see what might unfold if they did 🙂
