Fabregas to be put up for sale?
I'd love him to come back
Would take him back without a second thought. Guy was fucking unreal for us, since he left we have not dominated and dictated games on a regular basis either. An assist machine as well!
This probably ain't gonna happen though.
pay them what they paid us and call it even. would take him back in a second.
Put him upfront
Do not float back there
That way leads back to the pain
Hurt sorrow and death
Just saw this on a Barcelona forum
How does he go from best in the EPL to one of the worst in La Liga?
Its been a bit of a disaster for him. He joined Barcelona when they were the greatest team to ever play the game. Now he's overseeing their rapid decline. Bad timing for Cesc.
Don't we have a buy back option on his contract? I can imagine many teams comfortably outbidding us.
Rapid decline

He was one of the starters when they dropped 2 points in their first 19 games or something. Tito's illness and Roura playing him everywhere does not help. He is top top quality. He is too direct for Barcelona. Needs to come back.
Would love him back. Would be nice to have the best player in the country again.

That person is going a bit over the top saying he is one of the worst in La Liga. Part of his problem is he has Iniesta and Xavi playing in his favoured positions. They have bought him in as more of a statement than anything else, I think they wanted to bring in all their home grown players who were doing well elsewhere. They did the same with Pique and more recently Jordi Alba.
Also I think he isn't really a player suited for their tiki taka style, he was always linked more to R.Madrid in the past and funnily enough I think he would of done a lot better there than at Barca! When he first came there a lot of fans appreciated his much more direct style of play but that isn't the way Barca play, I recall Pep was worried about his positional sense and worked on that but his work got cut short. Unless I'm mistaken he has reached double figures for goals and assists in both his seasons there, second highest goal scorer behind Messi for them this season. He is a player who shouldn't need to worry about what is going on behind him but focus more on what is in front. He can play the deeper role though as well, I remember his performance at the Bernabau when we beat them he put in a world class performance playing deeper. Wenger saw he could do a lot more because he is very gifted finisher and I think his final ball is among the best in World football.
I think we have first option and also possibly a share if they sell him on for profit. I can't remember the exact details though.

First option, 50 percent sell on and buyback.
I doubt that it would ever happen, but I would LOVE him back playing for us. He's the one out of our departed players that I regret the most. I miss him. I miss watching him play.
He was pure quality, and the type of player that made everyone around him better.
Imagine a monster, mobile DM with Wilshere and Cesc infront of him as box-to-box players.
I know, it will never happen so why even bother thinking about it.
Give em Vermaelen and £20m then bring him back as skipper.
Love this to happen. Probably won't.
If he's not good enough for Barca he's not good enough for us.
But his style is too Premier League.
I miss the days when we created twenty chances each game.
We have a buy back clause, no?
edit: saw the post. I'd love to have him back.

We got the same amount of points though.
