I've only been to Aus once (though I suspect I'll end up spending a lot more time there eventually), so I'm hardly an expert, but I met a LOT of people who seemed to be hung up on which golf club, yacht club, surf club or school you went to. Not in a way that made them unpleasant, but it certainly seemed like a 'thing'.

Came out elite. Ridiculous housing prices, a little money in the bank and that I happen to love opera and balett I'd guess. Doesn't seem right.
