Not really, I also benefit from the inflated house values (I own outright my own house in an affluent inner city suburb) and have substantial savings.
I like jazz classical music art and the theatre, what fucks me up is I also like sports and computer games so I came out as "technical middle class" which is spot on.

Burnsy you're just an aristocratic "Chardonnay socialist" you're probably 51st in line to the throne or something.

😆 You'd be right there, if I didn't come from such a long line of chardonnay socialists and latte-sipping pinkos that we've hated the royals for at least 200 years ... as attested by various anecdotes of Fenian activities etc in the oral history.

I took it twice, pre-2004 when I was a home owner, and post-2004 after I sold the house and started renting.....And I went from Elite to Precariat! Didn't realize that owning a home, such an American value, is really big in the UK....
