I'm not convinced I'd want someone who accepts a move for a payday at a club fighting relegation. Not exactly the type of character I'd like in the team. I want to see a bit more desire and ambition than that. If he doesn't think he could at least make the bench for Barca or Man City in a couple of years he probably isn't good enough for us.

I'd stock the attack with some seriously dangerous players ahead of spending on a goalkeeper.

Remy's too much of an obvious sensible signing for us. He's very quick, can finish, is of good age and experience, has shown he can score goals in the premiership and he's keen to join us.

Watch us fart around pretending we're in for super quality, then miss out as Remy joins spurs and goes on to have a top season.

We need to go for two strikers, one who can get you 25 goals a season (Higuain, Benteke possibly Remy) and another who'd get 10-15 goals a season (Jovetic, Michu) with Walcott/Podolski and Cazorla as the wide players, who'll get 10-15 each

Scored 5 in 11 for the worst side in the league. That's about half of Giorud's tally who's played about 30 games. I grant you Remy is nothing special that he's not Falcao or Cavani but I would bet on the fact that he'd have scored quite a few more than Giroud.
