Simultaneously, BBC are reporting that Liverpool have all but given up on signing Alexis. For those wondering, BBC have also insisted that Man City have no interest in Alexis.

DiMarzio consistently stating they are working on Iturbe and struggling to pay up 30m euros for him. Now consider that Sanchez would be 5-10m euros more than that plus the significant difference in wages. I really can't see them getting him unless they sell Vidal/Pogba.

They have plenty of money available this summer. Whether they really want to spend it is another question entirely. It strikes me as a lot more likely that they haven't signed Iturbe yet because he simply isn't worth 30 million.
