not at all. there's been many deals between the clubs, admittedly usually in the one direction. it's not hard to imagine there's a fairly amicable relationship at board level. they may still hold a grudge for us selling them song though.

6,5. Mata, Ribery, Higuain and Suarez have all seemed to be close to signing for us before. Liverpool fans at rawk seem confident that he'll sign for them though, so that would make it even better if we did get him.

not to mention mata. all it takes is for someone like city to come in and outbid us, and for us to bottle out on the fee, and it's all up in the air. i doubt arsenal is some dream move for him, we're just offering the best conditions as things stand

If City buys Alexis (they won't), that means Aguero's getting sold, which puts another piece in motion that would arguably be a better fit in the team anyway. Not really too concerned. More concerned about how he'll fit in the team and whether we'll get a center forward.

negredo wants to move back to spain, and yaya has been agitating for a move. they can easily free up the space for alexis

Alexis and Aguero are very similar players. You're not gonna have two of them on the same team.

Ornstein said we're in talks. His agent just followed Arsenal and a number of our players on Twitter. Surely we're way past the 'interest' stage.
