Arsenal are among clubs to have expressed interest in Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez.
The 24-year-old Chile international has endured an indifferent season at the Camp Nou and Barcelona are understood to be willing to listen to offers in the summer.
Inter Milan have already made contact with the player's representatives and Barcelona anticipate Arsenal will follow up their longheld interest.

Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini has said that Arsenal are the "ideal" team for Alexis Sanchez to join if he leaves Barcelona this summer.

The Chile international has reportedly been the subject of interest from Juventus, as well as the Gunners, and Larini thinks that Arsene Wenger's side's style of play would be best suited to Sanchez's game.

"Sanchez needs to play the ball on the ground, just like Arsenal. That would be his ideal game," Larini told reporters.

"I do not know his current situation at the Spanish club. But his fitness problems have definitely limited his performances.

Another barca reject... he is the kind of player we lack, though.

This guy has not impressed me at Barca. I'm always thinking that he was one of their inferior buys (right up there with Hleb and that Chrgingksy (sp) guy). For Wenger's comfort zone of 10-13 million pounds, maybe, but any higher would not be good.

I just don't think he's a great fit for barca. He was never a tippy tappy player before he went there, and his natural role is performed better by Messi.

Like you say, worth a punt at a bargain.

Sanchez is defo top class. Don't expect a bargain though.

I only expect bargains.

Then don't expect Sanchez.

Don't expect me to expect Sanchez.

I don't expect someone as smart as you to expect to get someone like Sanchez on the cheap, but don't expect me to expect that Wenger won't expect to be able to get Sanchez at a bargain rate.

That wouldn't be unexpected.

He's a brilliant player. Would defo take him, but he'd have to stop diving every time he's touched playing over here.

Top class player, much maligned at Barca. Will take him obviously

He's a cunt.

I'd rather take Isco, who would probably cost about as much.

would rather we got a top midfielder and move santi out wide

alexis is a great player who's stock is low. worth a punt for about 15m imo.

... would cost twice as much because he is more likely to take us to the next level. agree with you here. Cazorla would crap himself with joy at the sight of Isco. would instantly make Cazorla more dangerous

Isco, Cazorla and Wilshere in the same team? Biggus would shit himself...

Another Barca tosser but a very good player

Do. Not. Want.

This guy is only interested in falling over and winning freekicks.

I never rated him at Udinese either tbh, he was just one part of a brilliantly functioning team.

I'd take him, but there's no way he'd cost as much as Isco will. Isco will likely replace him at Barça, anyway.
