It's a scaredy cat recoiling in terror- It possibly involves some sort of animal abuse........

Thats not even true any more. The first part. We haven't an exciting young striker since Bendtner and Vela flopped.
Think Akpom goes in the young, exciting striker category.
Lescott can leave for 4m apparently. Worth a punt ?

Hmmm would be a solid puck up but not for us
not even worth trying. if we put in a bid for him, Citeh will just give him 160 000 pounds wages
why would they do that?
Anyone know anything about Aubameyang? Why did his goal output go off the charts in the last two seasons?
Lobbed though balls to chase on to
:hmm: DM claims we're scouting Cech.

'Scouting' Cech. 😆

He's got 4 more than Gervinho did in his last 2 ligue one seasons
Link? Pretty sure thats not true at all.....
It isn't. Gervinho had 14 goals and 10 assists in Ligue 1 alone in his last season. Aubameyang currently has 16 goals and 8 assists.
One also needs to factor in that Aubameyang plays central as opposed to Gervinho who plays from the flank.
Thanks, i was pretty sure Gervinho's goal record was quite good in Ligue 1. Anyway when it comes to attackers i'd rather we stayed clear of the French league unless the player is certain to be a star.
Aubameyang seems an interesting player though. Looks composed in front of goal, tall, very fast. Seen too little of him to have a good opinion.

Aubameyang has 16 this season and 16 last season so 32 ligue 1 goals
Gervinho had 15 and 13 so total 28 ligue 1 goals in his last 2 seasons for Lille
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gervinho
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre-Emerick_Aubameyang
Edit: I understand the confusion what I meant to say was over the last 2 seasons auba has 32 and last 2 seasons Gerv had 28
What I am saying is that he despite playing upfront as opposed to the wing has not scored that many more than Gerv
I thought you meant he had 4 more this season alone
Just to clarify, when I said "off the charts", I meant relative to himself. Look at his goal record previously and he has exploded; was wondering if anyone had an explanation for this, e.g. change of position, change of system, self improvement...
He's kicked the ball into the goal more
