Home advantage is always massive in world cup.

Defenders aren't up to much either. Good, not great except for Lahm.

Yeah, just about decent only. They will need Badstuber back, and Schmelzer/Hummels to step up to the plate in big matches.

Gustavo might be available now they've all but signed Rode.

I really like Badstuber. Tough as old boots. Hummels is a bit fair weather for my liking, needs a Subotic or a Badstuber next to him to do the dirty stuff.

"A second tier club" 😆
Careful Tone lest you be tarred and feathered for daring to suggest that we're mid-tabled. 😉

This Sebastian Rode movie has driven many of them around the bend.

Nah, the only serious argument that could be made is whether we are second, third or maybe even as low fourth tier depending on where the "line" is drawn.
Mid-table, as you guys were debating, is a slightly different beast.

That's the point though, isn't it? That the 'line' can be drawn anywhere cos its completely arbitrary. You could easily have us as a first tier club if you wanted.

We'll get Gonalons this summer. Rode is going Bayern.

Not really.......1st tier clubs have usually won something in the last 8 years.

Indeed, the clue is in the name.

You can debate which tier we're in all you want, it means nothing more than we already know.

Oh really, I had no idea. Can you link me to a copy of the rules regarding 'tiers of football clubs' please? Ta.

Frankfurt confirmed Rode has moved to Bayern. Time to close thread.

Eintracht Frankfurt CEO Heribert Bruchhagen told Bild: “Why does Jan Kirchhoff go to Bayern? Why does Sebastian go too? My God, these are young people. They can earn four times as much money at Bayern as they can here. End of story.

Usually

Usually, all this 'tiers' waffle is just made up nonsense that means nothing.

Personally I think will spell the end for Gustavo there.

Good. Can WE sign him please?

Bayern are quite active, way before the end of the season too.

They are signing too many players. All the players are stupid to go there, won't get much game time.

And they still have to get rid of other young players they ruined, like Nils Petersen.

New manager building his own squad. There will be casualties for sure. That's why Dick Law should keep a close eye on them. A Gustavo for 10m here, and a Robben for the same?
