Hmm. Hard to call. We are quite useless but we have started to cobble some points together.

I hope this one happens in the Summer. Linked again today with Jovetic specifically talking about Arsenal.

"I've heard about Arsenal's interest," Jovetic is quoted as saying in the Sun. "It's a big pleasure for me to be on the radar of such a big club. I am happy about that.

"I've always had an affinity with Arsenal. It's a major club with a big tradition, one of the biggest in Europe. It's not easy to replace Van Persie, who scored a lot of goals.

"Arsenal have plenty of players who don't score like Van Persie, but are also very good. They are still very strong. I often watch Premier League games on TV. It's one of the best leagues in the world and looks tempting for me."

But easing fears he could look to force a move away from the Viola, Jovetic said: "Maybe one day I will play there but I have a contract with Fiorentina and battling for a Champions League place in Serie A is the only thing I'm thinking about now."

He'll be expensive. He has class but lacks consistency. If he is bought this summer it is as much for his potential as for his present ability.

Luca Toni saying Arsenal are no better than Fiorentina, and that Jovetic should move to a 'real top club' like United, Citeh or Chelsea.

Really, Wenger has done a number on the reputation of the club he helped build

If Luca Toni's a hasbeen, what are we?
Citeh and Chelsea are winning things, particularly the latter, who just have a habit of picking up trophies just about every year. I will always love the club, even if Wenger succeeds in making us a midtable team, but it does hurt to know we are slipping relative to our peers.

He's the closest thing to a Wenger striker (I'm thinking Anelka/Henry, and to some extent RVP here). This Giroud debacle needs to end. He should focus on doing our media campaigns.
