Why should we as fans care if he 'is worth' £25m or not? He is already at a level which means he would improve our team from day one, and he has potential to become even better. That is really all that matters. We need players better than what we currently have to improve, and he certainly fits that bill.

I remember we were so very close to signing tevez till the end of aug 31 a few years ago. The whole newsnow arsenal page was filled with news on that. Later on wenger came out and coolly said we were never even in for him.

The gonalons and sanogos are our kind of transfers. Only when one is signed should we be discussing about these big money guys.
