It's barely a weakness est. Our 2nd choice LB is shit - so what, there are others who could cover competently for a few weeks.
I'd rather that money was saved to invest in another player: fewer, bigger, better.
If we hadn't have panic-bought Santos in the first place, we wouldn't be in this mess, so we've effectively spent £14m to buy in a low priority position. If we're trying to be financially responsible, I'd say that that's a waste of money and it frustrates me when we're not willing to spend more than £10m on a single player in our front three, which IS a serious priority.
