Don't know much about Monreal, but you do have to wonder why we don't ask for somebody like Isco when we clearly have business contact with them. Maybe he's not for sale at Arsenal prices even with Malaga's awful money problems.
His name is sexy though, and that should keep Santos out of the team. I wonder if Gibbs will get more time at LW - his game might be better suited to it. I still don't really rate Kieran as a defender but that goes for everyone at Arsenal nowadays. Montréal is also a pretty great city, if you'll permit me to free associate.
