Ribery wasn't paid and was threatened with baseball bats in turkey. He got FIFA to tear up his contact. He was lucky to get out of there after just a handful of games. Ribery peaked at Marseille afterwards, but his story doesn't make turkey seem like a wise career move.

Better get going with those signings though. A good place to start would be to ask what Swansea want for the guy who needed 57 seconds to score against us today. He's not going to get any cheaper once he's made his debute for Spain.

Yeah but the hype is getting out of hand. Who is to say whether he'll deliver this time next season? Could easily be a flash in the pan.

That's a risk we have to take. If he continues this form into next season, he'll be out of the price range we're willing to pay. I don't particularly see why he can't continue playing this well going forward, he's been prolific in front of goal prior to this season. Probably worth waiting till the summer just to be sure, teams may well figure him (and Swansea) out in the second half of the season.

It's worth a shot. His current form has been an ongoing trend since he signed for Rayo Vallecano in 2011. His record has been as good as Ba's in that timeframe despite only playing as an out and out striker for the last couple of months.

Tough call, not sure id go to mad for his signature, Recently first 6 month hype saw Carroll, Cisse (newcastles), Chamakh (arsenal), Amr Zaki rated as brilliant strikers.

Speaking of Zaki that douch hasn't scored a single goal since his hot spell at Wigan (wiki).
