Can see it all being a bit Arshavinesque - a few very bright early moments dissolving into a lack of motivation, problems with the club and country, perhaps injury, and general ineffectuality in a demanding league.
He's got nothing left to prove and would he really start ahead of Podolski and Giroud, guaranteed? Anyway, I'm not altogether against it, just wouldn't expect it to really shake us up.
