I watched something called Hardware yesterday. Anyone seen it? It's a post-apocalyptic robosploitation flick somewhere from the early nineties. Some desert dweller finds the remains of a deactivated cyborg in the wasteland and brings it home with him. Someone's stupid enough to bring it back to life again, and at this point the movie becomes something akin to a splatter. The last half hour was mostly about the robot exacting its revenge on humanity... for some reason. I guess it was just built evil.
It was a fun watch. Lot of interesting ideas but the execuion is a bit on and off. A couple old rockers like Iggy Pop and Lemmy were included in the cast list.
