True crime is about on par with rape-heavy fantasy novels for that feeling of the perversion of its audience you get when you dip into it.
While I agree with this, this documentary is not so much about true crime as it is a look into the child care system and how it fails miserably in the US. And you get interviews from the District Attorney and the guy that prosecuted the case, from the actual child care workers that fucked up, and why they fucked up(some of them end up being responsible for 250 cases at once). This case made history as being on of the first where the social workers involved the case were facing criminal charges. They were charged with child endangerment which resulted in death, and falsification of public documents.
