Movie was an absolute train-wreck of propaganda, veiled misogyny, bad shot design, cliche cinematography, and terrible effects. Chris Pine was the only decent thing about it, which is pretty funny given the context and role he plays. All the nonsense with the Greek mythology wasn't fooling anyone, pretty clear which Mediterranean country is being referenced in this flick, and it wasn't Upskirt Island. I especially loved how they surreptitiously attempted to equate Native Americans with Israel. The bloody nerve. Giving the Nazis an Islamic flavor was a nice touch as well. A very, very poor rendition of the Book of Judith, basically.
Even my mother, who doesn't really give a damn about any of this stuff, was shocked by how blatant they were being.
