Yeah, I had only heard him trying to debate Phil Plait regarding the moon landings before (not the greatest of ideas when he's a renowned astrophysicist and you're an asshole who doesn't even understand optics) but that's exactly the feeling I got.

He's not very funny but an extremely well spoken guy. His standup is poor but his podcast is good (depending on the guest).

I quite liked the new Star Wars movie, felt it was much better than the self-plagiarism that was The Force Awakens. Thought Ozil did a decent job too as the rebel captain.

An awful shame she died during a bit of a renessaince for her with the new Star Wars movies. I liked her own public persona too. Always seemed very frank and honest.

I watch The Accountant last night, its pretty dumb and takes itself too seriously but its just about watchable. Also watched the Magnificent Seven and it was ok, forgettable action blockbuster fare but Denzel and Chris Pratt put on a decent show..

Jo's off work at the moment after an operation, so I'm looking after her. We watched, and greatly enjoyed, Despicable Me 2 yesterday. Good mix of some very childish and sly humour. Felt like a perfect film for us.
