Wouldn't go as far as that, but the praise this film has had is baffling to me.
Shit voiceover, hope that's not in the film.
Loved Mad Max as a teen, but seeing that trailer makes that whole world seem utterly ridiculous.
I think ridiculous is what they're going for.
I love it.

Thought it felt pretty true to the spirit of the original. The characters seem kinda bland though.
Just seen Magnolia. Oddly enough it's the one P.T Anderson movie I had yet to see. And what a great film it was. Hard to write much about it though. A movie like that, going on three hours theres a lot to take in. Will have to give it a rewatch in a few weeks.
Great flick. As it happens a friend of mine who's a massive fan of Magnolia is insisting we all head over her place to watch it on Easter Monday. Looking forward to seeing it again.
What should I watch tonight? Something light (but not overly stupid) with action and explosions plz.
The Raid or it's sequel.
Top suggestions there!
It's on popcorn time, putting it on now 🙂
Awesome action movie, cheers GM!
The sequel is even better!
Just watched Bad Words. Not very funny imo.
i love jason bateman type comedy, loved bad words, my type of goofy, although yea, it's his first directorial i think, so obviously not perfect.
I like most things with Bateman, loved Horrible Bosses 2. Arrested Development was also great except the last season. I thought the entire movie (Bad Words) was a little too straight forward.
You guys absolutely have to watch 'What we do in the shadows' - funniest movie I've seen in a long while.
furious 7--some ridiculous jaw dropping sequences but doesnt hit the highs of the previous ones. worth a watch anyways, or maybe will get better on subsequent watching.
This film, Samba, starring Omar Sy and Charlotte Gainsbourg was pretty fun. Two charismatic leads. Mixed reviews but I enjoyed it.
Arsedoc, Furious 7 was definitely the most disjointed of the newer Vin Diesel movies in the serious. It had some awesome stunts but asked us to suspend disbelief far more than Fast 5 and F&F 6 (and those movies had the bridge scene and the 25 minute airport runway chase). Just a few too many stunts that had you thinking 'Really?!" And then there was the bad guy who would appear everywhere the team was, and the character who drove an ambulance into his enemies when he had no idea they'd be there. There's so much more poorly thought stuff throughout the flick. Probably the risk you face when trying to outdo the outrageous.
