how about the smuggling in of peasant food via the gf's handbag? are we still on board with that at least?

i once got into an argument with another cinema patron over the powerful fragrance of my kebab snackpack. how can one get so upset over the smell of kebab meat, garlic, and chilli?

We know not to bring stinky food into enclosed spaces over here. Unless when you can't help it, like bringing things home in a car or a lift.

If someone's been eating stink beans and starts guffin away mid-movie, the theatre would probably empty in seconds.

Focus: passable. can sit through with a bag of kebabs easily. Little slow otherwise.

You still have a drive in where you are Gaz? That's sweet! We used to have a great one where I grew up as a kid and I'd love to go to one now as an adult.

yep theres only one in sydney, out blacktown way. asterix or burnsy would know the one im talking about. one of them worked in western sydney for a spell iirc

Wasn't me.

There's still one drive-in down south in WA. And a few pop-up outdoor movie joints that are similar.

Just saw Inherent Vice today. Great movie for Pynchon fans. You have to laugh at the negative reviews that complain it's too incoherent and rambling with weird pacing.
