My dog loves paper too. Especially tissues. When I throw a used tissue in the fire place he sits staring at it, sometimes he'll bark at it too. Always robs them out of bins too.

Wellington has now been taken over by The Hobbit. World premiere is this evening with the stars turning up on the red carpet from 4.30pm. We have a Hobbit market set up in town and a big screen has been screening the Lord of the Rings films since Sunday. Hoping to get close enough to get a glimpse of something tonight but unfortunately I've got an appointment at 3.40 so probably going to be too late to get anywhere close by the time I can make it.

It's true. People who made props and things for the film selling some of their work. Plus merchandise like collectible coins and stamps etc.

Saw Bond last week; was a decent bond entry but pretty average as films go.

Made it to Hobbir Premiere crowd yesterday evening. Couldn't get close enough for any autographs but close enough for some decent photos. Great atmosphere and just a fantastic thing to feel part of. Can't wait to see the film.

Man, Infernal Affairs is so much better than The Departed.

Love it. One of Tony Leung's best performances ever. The sequels are pretty good too.

Aye, it's one of my favourite movies. Just watching The Departed now and it's so bloated by comparison.

Wasn't a fan of part three.

Me neither to be honest. I'm cutting it a lot of slack because I'm a fan of Leon Lai though. Really wish he'd make more films like Fallen Angels.

Nicholson gives the over acting performance of a life time in The Departed, and that takes some doing. Dont know when he became so annoying, cos he was brilliant when he was younger. Watched Chinatown again not too long ago and thats a fantastic film.

I love the scene where he's trying to imitate a rat. Apparently they had to retake it a shitload of times because Nicholson wouldn't tone it down.

"You want calm, Martin? Look. This is me being calm. I'm so fucking calm I'm almost dying over here!" exposes front teeth, wrinkles nose and starts nibbling on a bit of cheese

I showed a group of friends Infernal Affairs and Election last summer.

Election is such a good film. I'd forgotten about the scene with the dogs, the sledgehammer and the meat mincer, though - some of the audience were a little troubled by that one :o
