BTW, what is the worst film you have seen and the worst you have actually paid to watch?

The new Batman is right up there, though there've been a few over the years.
Btw - you still in Muswell?
Really? I've seen some films that have made me so angry I've wanted to kill someone. I wouldn't put TDKR anywhere near those.
The two Joel Schumacher Batmans come immediately to mind, particularly the last one- Batman Forever, I think.
I went to see Moulin Rouge (my ex's choice, obviously she wasn't my ex at the time) and hated it, hated it, hated it. John Carpenter's Vampires was a serious disappointment and I fell asleep during Evita- on a first date no less.
There haven't been too many recently, basically because I'm a bit more choosy these days and Jo has pretty good taste in films. That said, I know she hated Open Water, whilst I wasn't a big fan of Collateral. Although having watched some of that since, I might have been wrong on that.
Also on a serious disappointment theme, Gangs of New York and the first Mission: Impossible film. I remember going to see that with 2 friends and we sat there, heads in our hands throughout.
I hated everything about Gangs that wasn't Daniel Day Lewis. And the big gang fight sequence.
