So I watched Looper.
I'd definitely recommend it, it's pretty good.
I'm not quite as sure as a lot of SF seems to be that our near future involves a regression to the social sphere of a Raymond Chandler novel, but hey, it's entertaining that the future has collapsed to various different versions of young Bogarts surrounded by strippers.
Loads of plot holes (though they're ones which can be explained away by a bit of sleight of hand - it doesn't subject its weak points to too much exposition) and a surprising plot that goes places you're not really expecting.
Joseph Gordon Levitt looks daft with a fake nose.
