ugh i was gutted for kolo after that first leg. what a time to have a 'mare. henry scored a fantastic goal (i think with his left against kahn, right inside the far post) to keep hope alive. vieira had hit the post in the first leg as well... the margins are so small in the cups 🙁

I am so up for this game.

Not just this game but what winning this tie would mean. Thinking about winning the CL gives me goosebumps and always will until we finally manage to 'seal the deal'.

Thats why this game should be looked at with less negativity and please try to look at the bigger picture. This game goes automatically as one of the biggest games of our season, if the not the biggest. This is not just another game.

If we beat Bayern there is a big possibilty that the draw can really open up for us and we will have a great chance, none of the teams bar Juve are as good as they were last season (including Real and Barca).

The final is in Wembly which should give us added incentive as well. Plus, who does not want to get revenge over Bayern for 2005? I have been waiting 8 years for this game and am hungry for us to take them down.

Despite our relatively shit season we can still come out as legends. If Chelsea can do it following what happened to them last season at this stage then so can we.

I haven't been watching Bayern this season - their results and record do look intimidating but if we can get our lot to just stay switched on in defence, keep them from scoring an away goal at all costs then we're in with a shout.

experienced players dropping clangers at the back has been our weak point all season. if the stars align and they suddenly don't drop clangers, we have a chance. i've been waiting for this day to arrive with each passing fixture, and it hasn't come yet so...

Last season against milan we struggled mainly because other than vp the team was average, this season we have good players all round the pitch, which makes me think we will go through over bayern. They have a solid team too but they are being overrated by some arsenal fans, nowhere near as good as they are being made out to be. Anyone but FC Messi though.

This is very true and at the pointy end of the CL many of the teams are very evenly matched in terms of players and the games are tight the difference is the coaches tactics, does the fact that Wenger has failed at every attempt for 16 years despite having some great players tell you something?

He doesn't have the tactical nous and/or his football philosophy is wrong.

Football is a very funny sport and knowing the season weve had nothing would shock me if we beat Bayern, in fact I think we will do them good and proper.

This will be Wenger's last great game (s).

They will underestimate us.

The fact we have faced so much adversity this season and are still in with a shout of winning a trophy and finishing top 4 will work in our favour.

Hopefully we will have built up enough momentum for this game (must win two league games and Blackburn).

The obession at Bayern to win the CL will work in our favour, we in a way have nothingto lose. More pressure on the Germans.

We dont have heavy legs (going out to Bradford could prove to be a blessing in disguise). We havent had monster FA Cup ties that have been emotionally draining. We have had low drama games recently (not like in 2007 and the fall out of the Carling Cup final or in 2008 with Eduardo). All our key players coming into form.

Football states that if you are having a shit season there is always one big scalp away and hopefully another and another (Arsenal 2005/2006).

The timing is just right.

Just think the stars are aligned for us to win here. I want more though, not just to go to quarter final and thats it but beating Bayern is a start.

Bayern are overrated.

If I know anything about football we will defeat them over two legs.

It's not faux.

The only associated chant I'm aware of has rather questionable origins and your comment itself was at the very least not befitting of the tone of the conversation.
