Like I said when our Puma and Emirates deals were announced, Gazidis is too reactive when it comes to commercial revenue. He doesn't understand how much these things are really worth. We constantly see United push the envelope on these commercial deals, while are we are content with yesterday's valuations. Look at their commercial revenues compared to ours, and you realize it's a factor in why they are so successful and we are not.
We will also see that stadium naming rights are worth much, much more than the deals currently in place. You only need to look as far as the US to see that. The same big corporations do business there and the same laws of economics apply. This is not rocket science.
Gazidis and his team are barely doing the minimum. They deserve zero praise. If you want to praise anyone, send it to United's team - it doesn't make me feel good to say it; that's just the reality.
