it's hard to joy in their misery given our own struggles. an FA Cup will be nice, but not even that is good enough to taunt a United fan with. on the other hand, Liverpool fans will do enough damage for all us once they win. United fans are doubling over and vomiting at the thought

If I were United I would try to lure Jupp Heynckes out of retirement for a year or two while I was working on a permanent solution.

If I were United, I'd hire Tim Sherwood. He's reasonably young enough to manage them for 20+ years.

Depends on how you define it, I suppose. It's Bayern; it's not like he rebuilt the club. He did some great work with the players he had at his disposal though. He did the same with Leverkusen before that.

The couldn't work with the Chavy scummy culture of Giggs and Rooney.

It's so hard to judge when the team itself is so good. Gaurdiola is the irritating one, on both occasions he's managed two of the most talented squads ever and on neither occasion did he lay the ground work. Makes you wonder if he's genuinely a very talented manager or is he just a good manager in the right place at the right time?

He basicly didn't change a thing about Van Gaals lineup/tactics which was a very smart move in the end.

Bayern was better last season. They also played better football.
