Nasri is way more talented than DiMaria. The problem with Nasri is that he was part of that generation that grew up in Zidane's shadow. Every good technical youngster in France was touted as the next Zidane. It took even Wenger(who is a frenchman, as you know) years to figure out that Nasri isn't a playmaker but a striker.
If Nasri had been properly educated to be direct and a runner he'd be a much better player today. Some of it is also he's own fault cos i don't think he wanted it enough, but it's hard to say.
