At any rate, none of them are a match for Creatures 2.
Or Manic Miner.
Platforming perfection.

Are you finished at uni now then Gael?
I don't really see the fascination with Mario myself. Tried it a bit on the kids' Nintendos but I can't really say that I enjoy it especially. I remember playing an early Civilization game, a lot, about a decade ago. Really liked it, but I remember it as enormously time consuming. Same with Football Manager. Put those kinds of games away. Came to the realization that I don't really want to spend the amount of time it takes to play them properly. That's what growing up gets you kids! 🙂
Oh and Pep - you suck at top 5 lists...

Graduate in the summer... but I like it too much here so I'm staying for a masters next year. Trying to persuade my tutor to let me do research in Brazil at the same time as the world cup as well, that would be the dream!

Shit, top 5 of all time brings back some memories.
FIFA 13 Football Manager 06 GTA: San Andreas Crash Bandicoot 1 (Crash Team Racing was epic too) Mario Kart Wii
Streets of Rage on Sega Mega Drive possibly the most cult that I ever played.
Super Mario Bros 3, and the original Mario 64 were both brilliant games, particularly the former. I never owned a NES but I played the shit out of SMB3 at friends' houses over the years.
Not only have the individual titles been mostly of absolute top quality, but at least three games in the series have been legacy titles, with two of them being arguably the greatest legacy titles of all time.
Feeling my age reading through the lists of some of you guys.
Streets of Rage Toejam and Earl Super Mario All Stars Final Fantasy 7&9 Metal Gear Solid Tomb Raider 1 Red Alert 2 Winning Eleven 6: FE Spyro the Dragon
