I haven't put my finger on it yet but even when I'm playing well I don't enjoy it as much. I reckon its probably the guns, they're a bit shit. They sound awful, most of them are weak and/or inaccurate. I just think its gone backwards in pretty much every aspect from MW2. And the level designs are pretty crap as well.

BTW I'm only talking about multi-player, I haven't tried the campaign.

I'm not keen on the guns. Galil is the best Assault Rifle on it, and that's not particularly accurate.

I can see what you guys are saying about Black Ops, seems like an inferior version of MW2. I'm a little disappointed by it, they really should have stuck with the WW2 theme and improved on that. It's playable but I dont think for long in my case.

I'm enjoying it, about 16 games in, won 8, drawn 7 and lost 1 (away to blackpool 😆 )

Yet to sign anyone. I find myself being like Arsene on it (for some fucking reason). Tend not to splash the cash unless i scout a player for about 4 or 5 months.

Nearly signed the likes of Gago and M.Diarra, but Melo handed in a transfer request. Had a nice little £3.9m bid accepted, for him then to want about £120,000 a week, and a £6m signing on fee. Greedy cunt.

Anyone unearthed any cheaper gems yet?

Have played around half of a season but more or less went vanilla to see how the game played and how arsenal held up. Tinkered with the formation but did nothing in regards to training, transfers etc. Am sitting third in the league; won most of the early games but have drawn or lost the last six.

Piece of advice, Lukaku is not one of the top gems. Average only. PA around 160.

Just signed 16y/o Mexican striker called Fernando Torres for 1.6m. Straight he went into the u18s. One of the top strikers in the game if he isn't a regen because I am in the 2nd season and aint sure

A plenty. Ramsey is the best youngster in the game by a long mile till the 2nd season when the regens come out. The obvious ones are Paulo Henrique, David Alaba, Danny Wilson, Leonado Galeo? (sp). Can't remember the rest off the top of my head

Anyone else play with Djourou? He's been excellent for me. I don't concede too many, but find that i'm not battering the smaller sides.

Vermaelen and Djourou every game.

Cesc and Song in midfield with Wilshere just ahead; the kid has something stupid like 20 goals for me already. Don't get much from my wide players though, have been tinkering with their instruction but can't seem to get them very involved in the game. I also play Fabianski in goal because, even though his stats are a bit better, Almunia seemed to concede more.

I'm exactly the same mate, although i don't play Jack too much at the moment. I don't get much joy out wide either. Nasri's out for 4 months, so i play Arshavin wide left with the "inside forward" instruction, and then Walcott as a winger. Usually play Song in deep in the middle, and then Cesc as an advanced playmaker, and Diaby as box-to-box. Still need a central midfielder to come in ahead of him though.

I played Nordtveidt a bit at DM whilst Song was out, and he did well for me. Also play with two deep holding central midfielders away from home at tricky opposition, with Denilson as a deep lying playmaker.

Just started it up to have a look at my team stats; Wilshere is my stand out performer in an 'AMC' role. I have him set to attacking mentality almost to the top, closing down all over the pitch around 3/4 of the way, 'much' creative freedom about 3/4 again, through balls and crosses often. His role is set as advanced playmaker. In 22 apps he has 17 goals and 13 assists.

Bendtner is my best striker with around a goal a game average. Theo scores one in two but assists nothing and his average rating is pretty low considering. Djourou has an average match rating of 7.54 and only has one goal so he is definitely my best defender. Ramsey has played 8 games and scored in four of them with two assists so is my best midfielder despite his low appearance count. Gibbs is my first choice left-back and actually, it is Denilson who I was playing next to Cesc until Ramsey came back; he averaged 7 on the dot in 12 games, no goals or assists though.

That's some stats right there. What formation do you set up with mate? 4-4-1-1?
