i don't remember too much about the ps2 hacking scene but i know it's easy to mod. swap magic is one but i haven't checked in a while if they made a hack to play games off a harddrive (like the xbox). that would be sweet, because of the ps2 is enormous with so many good games

Does anyone know if it is possible to update PES 2011 with Konami's updates if your PS3 is not online?

I move across the correct/transfers data files by USB stick but the cool ones with the Bundesliga in are based on patches I cannot download via my PS3 directly.

Is there anyway to move them across, or is it just set up for download directly?

What kind of PS2 do you have Don? If it's the bigger one, all you do is first of all download and burn the game to a dvd. Then use this video.

This one's clearer but it doesn't show you how to unclip the cover.

The slimline is a bit trickier but if that's the one let me know and I'll try to find you the clearest way of doing it.

I just downloaded the kits and everything for mine Allyboy. Just saved them onto a usb disk and copied them straight. But the problem with it is that despite all the kits being correct, you have to save their option file for it to work as the kits themselves won't work. Problem with that is that transfers aren't up to date but it's not a big problem fot me as I only use Arsenal and my mates only really use the likes of Madrid, Barca, Chelsea, United, Bayern, Milan and Inter so 20 mins or so is enough to correct all those teams. Not sure about the one you downloaded but does that one force you to copy the option file? This is because it'll prevent you from using the correct kits and everything if you do.

So yours is the fat ps2 I assume then?

Basically you can find them on isohunt as a torrent. They usually have coments and ratings (in green next to the search result if they're legit). Just click the link and read the comments and download it if it's legit. You may have slight difficulties finding one with many seeders but shouldn't be too difficult all the same. Just look for ones with more seeds than leeches and you should be fine. If you struggle just pm me some of the names you're looking for and I'll find you some links.

Slim silver is hardest to mod unfortuately. Still easy enough but you may have to chip with a soldering iron.

Has anyone played the FM2011 demo yet? I'm downloading Cities XL at the mo but I might nab this afterwards. I didn't bother with 2010; thought it was weaker than 2009.

Clrnc has. He says we're pretty good in it. Most things i've read about the game are pretty positive, i'm gonna hold out for the real thing though.

yeah, alot of bugs to be fixed though, plus now the press release isn't as communicative to other managers as the past.

CM have released a big patch for f1 2010 to fixed all the problems, but still left some very obvious one yet to be fixed. Doubt theres a 2nd patch so gotta live with this.
