There is certainly something fishy going on when all of a sudden your goalkeeper can't save what should be routine shots, and when your bread and butter finishes over and over go just wide or straight at the goalkeeper. Funny enough, that seems to happen when I go on a run of 6-8 wins, and it then only lasts for a game or two.

The point has it's place here though as you are only ever in control of one player. The rest is the game's AI.

This is becoming incoherent. How does scripting make up for flawed AI in an online match? To me that makes no sense.

I don't find that true of keepers at all. I do find it with shots but I think that's down to the player.

You've said about this 8 game thing before Rex and I find that to be such an arbitrary number that it's almost certainly a result of your own belief in it.

Yeah, because in the 7th/8th/9th game I suddenly just forget what I was doing successfully in front of goal in previous games. 🙂
I don't know, but weird things happen with some regularity for me, but I can't rule out completely that you are right of course.

That does look fun. Haven't bought it for the last 3 years because I didn't feel like investing the time in it again. Might think about getting back into it for the next version.

FMC cuts a lot of the crap from the game, it's much quicker. I haven't played the full version of FM ever since FMC came out.

Football manger has 2 game modes now, the "full version" (just like before) and FMC (which is a streamlined version). FMC removes lots of time consuming crap like press conferences, some training options, tutoring, etc. You can get through a season much faster and it's honestly more enjoyable. I exclusively play FMC now, I simply don't have the time to delve into minute details anymore.

FM takes me back to my student years, spending my days playing FM, playing FIFA Clubs or daily late night sessions playing Gears of War instead of doing Uni assignments. Those were the days :***(

As far as computer games go, theres few things more satisfying than finding some 16 year old simulated player on a whim, playing for a mid tier Serie B team that shows a lot of promise, bringing him to Arsenal and nurturing him to be a world class player. That game will devour you and make you forget to eat and sleep. Just like Irish I can't find the time to play anymore, and that's probably for the best.

FMC is a good idea for a lot of people but for me that's not how the game is meant to be played.
