Don't ever trust PES demos.

As far as the demos go, PES is more enjoyable than FIFA for me. FIFA is just same old, same old. PES feels like the game PES14 was meant to be. It has a few issues (the AI very rarely fouls you), but the potential is definitely there. A cool feature is that the opposition all play differently; Athletico Madrid for example really try to keep the ball and are happy to play it between the backline. The AI is much better than FIFA, they pass the ball backwards to go forwards. I've had them build an attack all the way into my third of the pitch and then end up with the ball all the way back in their third again. It's not something you ever see in FIFA and once you've seen it in PES, the poor standard of the AI and the way they attack in super human fashion really sticks out. Totally irrelevant if you only play multi-player of course.

Not sure I'll buy the full game but this will be the first time I won't be buying FIFA since 08.

PES have always been good at doing certain things really well but that's usually complemented with things that are done really poorly. They got away with it with genuinely fun gameplay compared to the dull, drab crap that EA would produce but they've turned it around since. Even if Pro Evo had marginally better gameplay (which it doesn't by a long shot for me), FIFA's overall package blows it away.

Next gen FIFA 15 is definitely an upgrade to the last gen FIFA 14 (which was a massive disappointment), can't speak for the like for like. Things feel much more authentic and less programmed, which I guess is always the aim. The very best players actually feel like quality players which is a good thing in general but probably bad news for FUT users like me and Rex who can't afford the very best players.

Played the Start Cup on FUT to get that gold pack, and shots from outside the box are really, REALLY over powered. I know the computer is set at 'shit' for that tournie, but about 50 percent of shots from within 40 yards end up in the back of the net, even with crappy players. Is shooting this year's headers, or do goalkeepers pick up at better levels? Have to try this when playing real people as opposed to the computer, but right now it is pretty ridiculous.

PES demo is ok, i've always preferred their player models over fifa. don't like the finishing/shooting mechanics in PES though.

Anyone know how to save your formation, player instructions and stuff on fifa 15 on the ps4. I used to be able to just save it as a custom formation with the player arrows and everything saved. There were like 30 different slots you could save. Now it seems you can only pick the formation and you have to do the player instructions every game (they're different and instead if arrows they now have written instructions) unless you rematch.

It's won me over. Absolutely loved feefs last few days, the physicality and realistic graphics make it feel so real and it flows really well.

Beat some chump 9-2 online earlier and had another where I had a guy sent off in the first ten min, conceded 2 pens (1 saved) and was 2 goals down throughout only to win 6-5 at the death.

Anyone on ps4 feel like losing add flowwith0

I've never got into ultimate team. How long does it take to get a decent team (say 75+ ratings all around)?

Ah ffs i'm gonna have to buy a ps4 now. Probably averaged 30 mins of gameplay per month on my ps3 over the last couple of years so i'm not sure it will be money well spent but i can't resist now. Didn't buy the last Fifa either so would like to play a bit of that too.

How big a step up are games like The Last Of Us, GTA, Assasins Creed etc from the ps3 versions?

I didn't play the last of us on ps3 but on ps4 it's probably the best game I've played.

Loving FIFA so far, although it's a bit tricky to get used to. Seems much more reliant on quick passing, holding possession and being patient rather than getting forward as quickly as possible as with 14. Pedantic point maybe, but I scored a goal from a one on one that the keeper got a touch to but couldn't keep out and the commentators called it an own goal. Also why is the quit game icon an image of Arteta with his head in his hands?

I've been playing with Sanchez and Walcott as my 2 strikers online and my tactic is pretty much get it to them as quick as possible, isolate a cb and run at him. Score some great counter attacking goals.

The key to winning for me is winning the ball back as quick as possible. Even with my direct style I've been averaging 60+% possession and creating heaps of chances.

Got into career mode a bit too. Completely changed the style of Arsenals team and bought ten players in the first window lol.
