I upgraded to a PS4 at Christmas time Rex and there isn't anything yet that compares to Skyrim. That game was truly fantastic. Best I've ever played.

I've been playing a lot of Battlefield 4 on-line. New maps got released last week for Premium members which are pretty cool.

Also just started playing the Destiny Beta. Now that looks like a game worth playing. Still, I can't wait for a Skyrim reboot or new Elder Scrolls game - not the crappy multi-player thing they released though. I don't want some 14 year old, like my son, beating me up all the time.

Used to love 2D scrollers.

Shadow Warriors, TMNT, Double Dragon and sequels, Final Fight, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, Strider … used to spend all my tiny pocket money on those games. Even robbed my parents at one point.

Got Watch Dogs along with my PS4, so that is what I'll do until the 25th when I get my hands on FIFA.

So The Last of Us is now out on PS4 and I am still yet to get to the PS3 version I have on the shelf at home. Shame there's no option to pay a little for the upgrade if you already own it. Do I trade it in for money off the PS4 version or just settle for PS3?

Well it's going to be nearly exactly the same game either way. Fun few hours though. 🙂

double dragon II was awesome. nothing more satisfying than when you did that knee kick and the guys would go flying. there was that level inside the chopper where if you timed it right, the door would open and you could kick the guys out.

Yeah was wondering if I could be missing out on something but guess there can't be that much difference.

I knew it was a mistake to bring the kids when shopping. While I had my head turned my 13 year old started playing Mario Cart with my 4 year old, and the little man absolutely loved it. Poor guy was literally crying when I had to drag him out of the store...
Anyway, since I have just bought a PS4, and spent a fortune on other stuff, there is no way I am buying a Wii or a WiiU. However, an assistant in the store recommended a Wii mini. One of those costs a lot less, and we'd still be able to play Mario Cart and other Nintendo games, right? Is one of them minis something to get though?

Not sure and I know it's not what you asked but You can play Mario Cart on a Nintendo ds (or ds 3d) and there cheap as chips second hand.

I'm trying to justify buying an Xbox One to the wife so I've sold a load of crap I don't need. So far raised £100, hoping I can increase that to £180 with a couple of things I've got on Gumtree. Worst comes to worst, I'll start selling the wifes jewels.
