I have the same problem, actually. I win div 3 easily and then get relegated from 2. This has been repeated three times now, I think.

Defending seems the big difference to me. All of a sudden I come up against players who are a lot better at it.

Worst thing about Fifa is the monopoly it has on football titles now. There's no reason for it to improve because it's the only game in town (barring PES but I'm sick of Konami's lies).

To be fair, up until this year, they've genuinely seemed to try and improve the content of the game, as well as the game play and Konami has been out of the picture for a while. I'm pretty pleased with the options though, whether it's career mode, be a pro, clubs, seasons, ultimate team, skills etc.

Options don't prevent the core gameplay from being shit unfortunately.

It is usually the same ol thing every year with a few tweaks rather than a complete overhaul. Even now there are so many little things they need to sort out but like Cap says there is no incentive for them to do it as there is no real competition. Also with there being a new one every year they'll just do the bare minimum and concentrate on churning that one out.

You can start with the second. I hadn't played the first one either but I picked up on the characters and the setting quickly.
