On second thought, I have to fit Mario 3dworld in my top three, so I'm flicking Bioshock. Apart from being outstanding, Mario is more or less the only game that I can play with my girlfriend, so it needs to be up there.

Have loved the Uncharted series which I've only just got to playing over the last year. Been a good change for me as previously I'd pretty much only played sports games, mostly FIFA. Am about 70% through Uncharted 3 now and have The Last of Us sitting on the shelf at home to play next.

Going to trade in FIFA 14 PS3 version to get the PS4 version today.

Think that's the best way to approach games, invis. Focusing on one genre always leads to burn-out.

Yep. Looking forward t getting into some PS4 gaming soon. Of the upcoming releases Watchdogs, Thief, inFamous Second Son and Drive Club look interesting to me. Got a couple of racing games on PS3 but never had a wheel so always find it a bit diffiult with a controller. Really should look at getting a wheel. Is there any chance some will be compatible with both PS3 and PS4? Could be an expensive investment so wouldn't want to have to buy one for each console!

The new Tomb Raider might be worth it judging by the good reviews. Never really played the originals but I remember my Uncle being obsessed with them and I gather it's a similar kind of game to Uncharted.

The new tomb raider is definitely worth it. It's a good game by any metric.

Don't know about the steering wheel as I don't really play driving sims. I'm more of a burnout/need for speed man, for which a pad is fine.

Love Tomb Raider and played the first 4, I think, could be 5. They have a lot more puzzles to solve than at least Uncharted 1. Uncharted 2 has been sitting here for at least a year without me trying it out. 🙂

It's like any form of entertainment, Rex. If you only focus on one area of it, you'll eventually get bored; same for music, film, theatre etc.

Think that settles it for getting Tomb Raider then.

Definitely get into Uncharted 2 Rex. Think that's the best one of the series.

Playing Black Flag on PS4, really enjoying it. And Rex, to not play Uncharted 2 should be considered a crime if you own a PS3.

But genuine, Nintendo has pretty much perfected local multiplayer for all demographics at this point. Their top titles are unparalleled.

I must have played at least 40 games last year. Most of them were only a couple of hours long though. Some of them were even shorter than that. Life is so much easier when you ignore the AAA circus.

Ah awesome, my copy of AC4 arrived today. I only ever played the first one and bits of the third.

Is there more to do than in the first one. I remember it being a bit repetitive.
