In FUT no one really disconnects since it has repercussions. I like that. However, there have been a handful of incidents where the connection is really lost and I end up paying for it despite being in a winning position. Fucks me right off. :gah:

Disconnecting in a winning position really is the worst 😆

Fifa 12 was awful when it came to "disconnects" though. If you "disconnected" within 5 minutes of the match (game time), there was no penalty. Which of course meant that every wanker out there would leave the match if you scored within 5 minutes...

Yeah but now thats not there which means if you go into a match and the quality of the connection is terrible you can't get out of it.

As a general rule of thumb, I don't go into games unless there are 4 solid green bars on the connection indicator when first matching up. You are right; it is horrible to have to go through a whole match on a bad connection.

The connection indicator doesn't come on in Seasons mode though, jumps right into a game.

Mind you, FIFA 14 has been very reliable in terms of getting a good connection, probably only 1 in ten are slightly laggy, and 1 in 20 unplayable.

I just played Rymdkapsel. It's out on Steam on friday. Wonderful little gem. I didn't think it was possible to make an ambient RTS that only lasts for two or three hours but it works great. Genius aesthetics.

Anyone played Resogun on PS4? Had a brief go before bed last night when it finished downloading. Seemed fun, kind of like a modern day space invaders.

Yeah resogun is great, looks amazing.

Two player co-op would be good but I've got no idea how they'd manage it without resorting to split screen.

Yeah if no real games when I bought it at first so played Resogun quite a bit. It's good but I could never get into it for more than a quick go.

What is going on at these developers/publishers? Every big game keeps slipping further and further into the year.

Got the new Tomb Raider for PS4 yesterday, had a quick play on it last night. Graphics are pretty decent and it runs very smoothly. It also enables the speaker on the game pad which freaked me out at first as I had forgotten about that!

Tomb Raider's great. Was surprised how good it was.

Probably my second favorite game last year after The Last of Us.

It's a good game but wouldn't even come close to my top ten last year.
